Tossing and turning, sweaty and hot, I often wake up in the middle of the night abruptly, not knowing what hit me. Then I think back, what has gotten me in such a state? It doesn’t take long before I realize that again, I had been dreaming about the Vancouver Canucks and the Stanley Cup.

Okay, so maybe that is a little dramatized, but it’s not a stretch to say that for as long as I can remember I have been a Canucks fan. Through the good times and bad, I have followed the team, day in day out, waiting for the day that they are able to hoist the Stanley Cup.

Along with being an avid Canucks fan, I am a sports fan in general and an aspiring sports broadcaster/journalist. Currently I am trying to pave the path which will hopefully lead me to being a play-by-play announcer for the Canucks one day and hey, maybe I’ll be able to see them win that Cup in person?

Over the past few years I have become a bigger NFL fan; I mean how could I not be a fan of the best and most professionally run sports league in the world? Living in close proximity to Seattle my exposure to the Seahawks and the fans around me had led me to follow the team more than any other. But even more recently, I have been converted into a New Orleans Saints fan, with all the young talent they have mixed in with their veterans, their future seems quite bright.
